As you can see, we are all moved out and packed to move home. For the first time all year, our dorm room actually looks like a dorm room! I have some great friends to help me move all my "stuff" out and over to a storage unit. Did I ever mention, that I hate moving?
Last night, I went with Sydney to York to deliver a cake that we made for a fourteen year old's birthday party. The cake was princess themed and super cute. The fourteen year olds, however, were not so cute. If I remember correctly, I was thinking about who was going to be my first kiss when I was fourteen, not who was sleeping with who. Seriously! I couldn't believe it. They didn't seem to bad girls or anything... they were good Lutheran girls. But the content and their interest in things that I didn't even think about to high school, was incredible!
I don't understand the rush to grow up. Why do girls in middle school, feel the need to be like high school students now a days. While high school students, feel the need to pretend they are in college! Life is about having fun and enjoying it while you can. Why would anyone want to rush that? Maybe, I'm insane and crazy. But, personally, I just don't think it makes any sense.
