If you at all familiar with this wonderful thing we call the internet (which I highly hope you are, because your reading this nonsense), then you are most likely also familiar with the addicting world of Facebook.
Facebook is not only an interactive social network, but it is also a lifestyle for many people. Personally, I live on Facebook. No literally. My socially life would be non-existed if it weren't for Facebook. Honestly, I use my phone for Facebook more then I actually use it to call people. Wait? Call people? You mean like talk to them on the phone? Do people still do that?
Anyway, if you're a Facebook "Fan" then you prob. already know about the recent changes. One day we were all sitting on Facebook enjoying our comments and liking each others postings. The next minute, the page refreshes and BAM! There it is. This new thing, that they call "Facebook".
The Pros to this new Facebook? Easy. It's ridiculously easy to "Facebook creep" on people.
The Cons to this new Facebook? Easy. It's just as ridiculously easy for people to "Facebook creep" on me.
As a result, everyone seems to be switching over to "Google Plus". Which is pretty much the old Facebook. Woah! Back up! I feel like I've heard this story before! Oh wait, thats right! I have! Something about Myspace and people switching over to Facebook. Maybe it's me, but I feel as if I just got over that change?!?! .... While I have nothing against "Google Plus"... I'd prefer to stay on Facebook. Life is too short to keep changing social networks.
I guess this means that its time to start making "real" friends.
Rachel.
