Intermission.

As I am braining storming ideas for my next blog, I thought maybe I could get some extra creative cells flowing if I watched a musical. Actually, to be honest, I've just been on this extreme musical kick lately. Within the past four days, I've made an effort to watch; The Lion King, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, A Chorus Line, and Hairspray. So to continue to feed my musical "addiction", I decided that I was going to watch the classic Hello, Dolly this afternoon.

I'm sitting here watching, and singing along, when all of a sudden the screen goes black and in bold red letters reads "Intermission". For 10 minutes, I sat and watched a black screen with background music, waiting for "intermission" to be over. Did I mention that I'm watching the dvd? Last time I checked, if I wanted to take an "intermission" from the movie, I could just pick up my remote and pause the movie.

If Hello, Dolly gets to have a 10 minute intermission then so should everyone else.

Movies that I believe need an intermission:

- Lord of the Rings
- Star Wars
- Harry Potter
- Titanic
- Cast Away
- Ben Button
