Fall

One of the biggest "perks" about living in Nebraska, is the experience of watching these things they call "seasons" change. While Florida technically has seasons, they aren't exactly visible or different from one another. Lets be honest, Florida has summer, more summer, a wee bit chill, and a lesser summer, known as spring. Nebraska, on the other hand, seems to have all the seasons covered.

Sitting in my room, (watching nonsense musicals) I have been watching the tree out side of my window change from summer to Fall. Today is the perfect, windy fall day. It's not too hot and not too cold. The leaves are changing colors, and falling off the trees, landing on the ground waiting for me to walk outside and crunch them.

I have to admit, there is something about Fall, that makes me feel all warm and cozy. It's the perfect homey feel. Maybe it is because the colors that are usually associated with fall are dark warm colors. Maybe it is because the coolness in the air, makes for a perfect "hot chocolate" and "warm fire" kind of evenings. Or maybe it is just because it is just such an amazing season.

I am not really sure where I was going with this blog. I just know that the only thing that has been on mind all day has been how it is such a wonderful fall day, and it puts me in an overly happy and good mood (for the most part).
