Creative Drama.

Today for creative drama, I had to present a group presentation on a lesson plan that my group and I prepared that uses creative drama. For our project, my group decided to work with the most amazing story book ever, Drippy the Rain Drop.

In class today, we had planned to help the "students" (aka our other class mates) to create a puppet based on their favorite character from the story of Drippy or a character that they would like to see in the story of Drippy.

After handing out art supplies and directing the students in what to do, they began to get creative. I was shocked at some of the ideas that they had come up with. I never that a group of college students could have so much fun doing a project that was designed for a 3rd grade classroom.

Maybe I was wrong all this time. College students and adult can have fun doing simple art projects. We all think that the older we get the more complicated arts and crafts have to be. But give us a paper plate, a few markers, and some colored paper and you might be surprised of the creations that we can make.
