Everything Happens for a Reason?

I've heard it said over and over again that everything happens for a reason. If you really want to think about it, yeah sure it does... but its not very often that you realize it right before your eyes. Usually, it takes months, or time to think before you realize how your life events line up.

Today, while I was walking around Walmart, I noticed an aisle that I never noticed before. The world's smallest Walmart, has an entire aisle of cake baking tools. Fondant. Food coloring. Rollers. Smoothers. Icing mixs. Everything that you would need to bake an awesome cake.

Friday night and then again Saturday, I got in the car and drove 30 minutes to the nearest Hobby Lobby to buy supplies to bake my ultimate cake creation. Today, I found out, that I could of gotten everything I need and cheaper 5 miles down the road.

But now, lets think about this. If I didn't drive the extra 30 minutes to buy cake supplies, I would of finished the cake creation a lot earlier. If I had finished earlier, I wouldn't be in the kitchen when Amanda and Allen came around. I would of never met Allen the awesome security guard. I would of never talked to Amanda and agree to bake her another cake on Saturday. Therefore, I would of been bored all day Saturday and Friday night. But I guess, that means, that I could of also went to Spring weekend.

I also would of never been watching infomercials at two in the morning, to learn that you can buy a sports bra for 60$. Because, everyone needs a 60$ sports bra!

Dear Walmart.
You disappoint me with great joy.

Love Rachel.
